According to Nationwide in their report for February 2022, they noted that there has been an annual increase of 12.6%. This is a 1.6% increase on January, bringing the average house price in the UK up by £29,162 since last February.

According to Halifax, the average house price has now reached a record high of £278,123! This means that in the last 24 months, prices have increased by £38,709.
